I had to physically delete the left-over file and it's content (which it was quite a bit) and then run CCleaner to get rid of the BS. That in itself to me Qualifies this program as a Malware, Adware, or anything but a legit software. rather than Add/Remove Panel.ДҐ) The program against it's own claim left a whole bunch of CRAP after the uninstall routine. when it sepcifically tells me to unistall thru that route. Well that right there should have been a clue to me that something is funny. nothing, nada!Д¤) I uninstall it as it tells me thru the Start > All Programs > Fire Trust > SiteHound Uninstall

I decided to go ahead and install 'SiteHound 2.0' by FireTrust.

do you know if SiteHound does the same thing as 'Browser Defender' made by PCTools? Or does it provide something totally different?ДЄfter reading some other comaprisons and what not on the internet and different AntiVirus Forums. does SiteHound phone back home with the sites that I visit!?!? Do you know? I am paranoid about my Privacy! so you don't see SiteHound causing problem with that!?!? Right? Q3: Exile, I use the integrated downloader into my IE7. or has Comodo batched that into the Antivirus portion of it's Software? Q2: However since I opt to only use the Firewall portion of CIS, am I still getting the Benefit of integrated BOClean. now that you mentioned that Feature has been incorporated into CIS. Thanks for the suggestion of ditching the Comodo BOClean. which do you like Better or Trust more!?!? Q1: Do you have any preference for the AntiVirus proggie.

I am NOT so sure how good is Comodo's AV portion of CIS.

THANKS again for your help.Д®xile, I have opted to use only the Firewall Portion of the CIS and I have use Avira as my Antivirus Software since I have seen some sites Rate it Higher than most other AVs. Q5: Is SiteHound equal to 'Browser Defender' made by PCTools? Or does it provide something totally different? Q4: Does SiteHound send info back to the Company of the websites that I visit? Q3: Will SiteHound 2.0 interfere with that Downloader? I also use a Video Downloader that is integrated into my IE7. BTW, all my softwares are totally up-to-date.

so may be I should remove it? For example the Comodo BOClean 4.27, which is no longer being developed by Comodo as a Standalone software. Q2: Will any of my exisitng Antivirus softwares work against the SiteHound. Q1: Would 'SiteHound 2.0' conflict with my existing Antivirus set up? Since I have so many different proggies on my laptop, I thouhgt I better ask my questions before I proceed with the installation of it.ДЇYI, my OS is Vista Home Prem., SP1, 64-Bit on a Gateway laptop. and in that HiJackThis thread it was suggested that in order to keep my laptop Safe I should add 'SiteHound 2.0' by FireTrust. I was helped on this Forum with reviewing my laptop health and I was given a clean bill of health.
